The Home Care Administration is responsible for the needs of elderly people regarding care, support, housing, and activities. The administration is one of the municipality's largest workplaces with about 2,200 employees. We constantly strive for development and renewal within our area of operations. Do you want an exciting summer job as an activity leader?

As an activity leader, we work preventively to promote the well-being of our clients. We do this by offering social and physical activities, intellectual stimulation, culture, and crafts. We constantly strive to develop our activities and working methods. We are responsible for reaching out, collaborating, planning, and implementing activities based on the needs and wishes of our clients.

The activity leaders actively work together with volunteers at our meeting places around Halmstad and are based at the All Hearts House.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing a higher education in health or has already completed their studies.

You are social and love working with people. You always put the client first and work according to the Home Care Administration's values: trust, respect, and humility.

You are driven, service-oriented, and responsible, and can plan and execute both social and physical activities. As an activity leader, you need to be able to take initiative, be self-sufficient, and feel comfortable leading in social contexts.

Together, we have a good ability to collaborate, both among colleagues in the workgroup and with our clients, volunteers, and other partners.

A driver's license for a manual transmission car is a requirement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
